Now the platform receives a new update, but for Android, as it integrates a series of features that some time ago were available in the beta version of the application. Specifically, it is the new states of text and, more importantly, support for video calls with the PIP mode of Android Oreo, special features that all users can enjoy now.

— WABetaInfo (@WABetaInfo) July 19, 2017 At the moment of updating our status in the application, above the camera icon, an icon will appear in the form of a pencil, it will allow us to write what we want. It also includes the default WhatsApp emotions which will be visible for only 24 hours. However, it is a feature quite simple in this new version, as the main protagonist comes to the support for video calls with Android Oreo mode: Picture in Picture (PIP). In this way, we can do other things while we are in a video call by simply activating PIP mode. As you know, the PIP mode works with a floating window, here it will be the same with the video call and, we can change the position as many times as we want and can thus carry out other tasks. For now, you can only enjoy this update in Android Oreo. The new update has already been introduced on Google Play. Undoubtedly, these are important functions that are not new, but users will know how to use and even more, the new PIP mode for video calls, so, with this new feature you can do several things which were never so simple.
